Mercy LIFE West Philadelphia Achieves 2025 Pathway to Excellence® Designation

Mercy LIFE West Philadelphia (MLWP) has once again achieved national recognition, earning the ANCC Pathway to Excellence® designation for 2025. This prestigious honor, awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, recognizes health care organizations that create positive practice environments where nurses are empowered and supported.

MLWP is proud to be the only PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) organization in the United States to receive this designation—an achievement that underscores our unwavering commitment to high-quality, person-centered care.

This marks the fourth time MLWP has received the Pathway designation, with previous honors in 2012, 2016, and 2020. The Pathway credential is a global symbol of excellence, highlighting organizations where nurses are engaged, valued, and actively involved in shaping care delivery.

“We are so proud of the hard work and dedication of our PACE nurses, who provide excellent care to our participants,” said Molly Crumley, Chief Nursing Officer.

Pathway-designated organizations are known for:

  • Higher nurse engagement and satisfaction
  • Lower staff turnover
  • Improved patient outcomes
  • A culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement

This recognition reflects the dedication of our entire team at MLWP and our shared mission to advance the future of healthcare through compassion, innovation, and excellence.
